Text by Sir Philip Sidney. A gentle song with a simple, graceful melody. Originally written for the London Humanist Choir as a wedding song. This is Ian's most popular and most frequently performed work.
 
The SSA version was selected as a set work for both the 2016 Leith Hill Musical Festival and the 2017 Scunthorpe Musical Festival.
