This is a setting of Edward Lear’s masterpiece of nonsense poetry. It’s the story of The Dong who falls in love with a Jumbly Girl. But the Jumblies sail away and the broken-hearted Dong devotes his life to searching for her in vain with the aid (at night) of a lantern built into an enormous nose which he straps to his head.
 
There are a few divisi moments, short optional solo lines and a short section which calls for narration.
